We play and pray together!
Long-term care involves more than just medication and therapy. At Parkway we’re prepared to deal with the total spectrum of needs. Our activities department develops classes and programs for a wide range of interests. The department’s staff members work individually with each patient, choosing appealing activities that will enhance memory and also aid manual dexterity and motor function. The regular schedule includes arts and crafts, rosary, religious programs, bingo, group exercise, parties and current events. A birthday party is held monthly. Other special occasions include dances, movies and social evenings for patients and their families. One of the hallmarks of Parkway is our extensive decorating for holidays.
